Yesterday, the Tree of Life Rejuvenation Center hosted about 180 people for our annual Thanksgiving Potluck and Celebration. It was an enthusiastic, festive day filled with activities and delicious, plant-sourced-only, live food cuisine!
The day began with chanting and music in the garden!
After chanting, an hour of group meditation, and then a garden project! Participants of the celebration helped to plant olive, apple, and walnut trees.
Then, the Thanksgiving blessing led by Gabriel Cousens, M.D.
A feast was laid out on long tables, inclusive of an entree and salad bar made by the Tree of Life Cafe, and delicious contributions from participants.

WOAH! This is amazing!
I’d really like to make that food for our big 2011 feast. I know you guys get recipe requests all the time, and I’m wondering- you know how sometimes authors will put out a digital book or pamphlet~
Would anyone be willing to consider creating a Thanksgiving Meal Recipe Collection from the Tree of Life Cafe that we could buy online and download? Maybe?
Love to you all! Thanks so much for your giving hearts xxoo
wished I was there. I miss you guys!
cheers,
Hans
Totally amazing! The pictures are great too, i can almost feel that warm, dry desert sun on my skin. The 2 Thanksgivings i spent at the Tree of Life were so incredible. Such a deep, heart felt connection with all the other people there and the planet. Beautiful experience! And the food is just….well….unreal. = )
what a good order of events!
meditation/blessing, planting/exercise and eating
